Trainer- Brittany Walker
Brittany has over 10 years experience teaching and training hunter/jumpers, dressage and 3-day eventing.
Growing up you could find her mucking stalls in order to pay for riding lessons. She started off at a local barn called Reefside Stable in Islamorada, Fl before moving up to Coconut Palm Equestrian Center and Redland Stables in Miami, Fl. While at Coconut Palm and Redland she started teaching riding lessons and training young horses. Riding anything and everything from hunter ponies to OTTB's.
When it came time for college Brittany chose Averett University for their nationally acclaimed equestrian program. While at Averett Brittany had the opportunity to participate in many clinics including Darren Chiacchia, Robin Walker, Bailey Cook and Sarah Gieke to name a few.
After Averett Brittany held a working student position with Billie Rae Croll developing her skills as rider and re-training OTTB's. While at BRC stables she was able to participate in "A" rated hunter/jumper shows, fox hunts, hunter paces, and cross country schooling on a regular basis.
Next came an internship with Ashley Adams and Will Coleman. Working with Will and Ashley was a huge leap for Brittany. Being exposed to the top levels of 3-day eventing was an inspiration. She learned so much while there; from simple grooming tips to fitness work, it all had a major impact.
Before heading back to Florida Brittany rode with Sarah Warmack for a little while working with OTTB's yet again.
After spending 2012 in Florida bringing along some young prospects Brittany stumbled upon Honey Holler Farm in Trade, TN. Liking the looks of the farm and surrounding area she decided to make the leap back up north to create her own business. We would love it if you would join us in this new adventure!
